I am a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip arthroscopy, complex shoulder and knee injuries, joint replacement and general orthopedics. I have a special interest in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments as a non-surgical alternative to treat joint pain. I have been practicing at Central Indiana Orthopedics since 2016 in the Fishers and Anderson offices. My goal is to provide personalized care to each patient and to treat them as if they are a member of my family. I feel fortunate to have worked with the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns, as well as serving as team physician for Indiana State University, the University of Indianapolis, and Oberlin College.

Dr. Kay graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana with his Doctor of Medicine degree. Following medical school, he completed an internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Indiana University Health Center in Indianapolis. He is an experienced sports medicine physician, previously serving as the team physician for the Indy Premier Soccer Club Classic. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, he has been practicing at Central Indiana Orthopedics since 2001.

Dr. Herbst earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. After medical school, Dr. Herbst completed residence training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Iowa Hospital of Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, as well as completing a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he has been practicing at Central Indiana Orthopedics since 2002.
